THIS ISN’T A STORY ABOUT SQUARE FOOTAGE. IT’S ABOUT FILLING A CULTURAL VOID. LOS SANTOS WAS BORN FROM A HUNGER—NOT JUST FOR GOOD COFFEE OR BEAUTIFUL SPACES, BUT FOR BELONGING. FOR A PLACE WHERE FAITH AND CREATIVITY DON’T COMPETE, THEY CONVERGE. WHERE THE SPIRITUALLY ROOTED AND SOCIALLY DISPLACED CAN COME HOME.
IT’S NOT A CHURCH. NOT A COWORKING SPACE. NOT A CAFÉ. IT’S A THIRD PLACE—BUILT FOR CONVERSATIONS THAT MATTER AND LIVES THAT DON’T FIT NEATLY INTO BOXES. A PLACE THAT FEELS LIKE A GIFT TO THE CITY—AND A CHARGE TO ITS FUTURE.
LOS SANTOS ISN’T JUST DESIGNED FOR THE “IN CROWD.” IT’S FOR THE MOMS, THE MAKERS, THE MIDNIGHT SONGWRITERS. IT’S FOR ANYONE SEARCHING FOR DEPTH OVER HYPE, SOUL OVER SURFACE. THIS ISN’T JUST A PLACE TO WORK, GATHER, OR SIP—IT’S WHERE CALLINGS GET CLARIFIED. WHERE CULTURE GETS REWRITTEN.
A PLACE FOR PIONEERS
TIM STANTON: I remember when you first shared the idea. You weren’t talking about a building. You were talking about a cultural shift. And honestly, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
PHIL NOVOA: Because it’s more than a space. Los Santos has always been about the hunger beneath the surface... a generation of creatives, especially Christians, who feel spiritually full but creatively and socially isolated. We don’t need another place to work. We need a place to belong.
LINDSEY NOVOA: Exactly. It’s like everyone’s out here trying to build something, but no one’s building with each other. That’s what we’re trying to change. Los Santos isn’t a place you go to escape real life, it’s where you go to remember what it’s for.
TS: That’s why this has always felt more like a movement than a business. You’re naming something people didn’t even realize they were missing.
PN: Right. Austin’s growing fast, but in that growth, we’re losing the kinds of spaces that make culture breathe, where ideas are exchanged, faith is cultivated, and creativity is sparked.
LN: We want Los Santos to be that third place. Not home, not church, not work, but something sacred in-between. Where someone can come in with a question and leave with a vision.
TS: From a design perspective, that’s both thrilling and demanding. You’re not just asking for form and function... you’re asking for soul.
PN: And that’s why we brought you in. We knew Los Santos had to feel like the people it’s for. Not sterile. Not overly polished. But warm, alive, and layered with meaning.
LN: And flexible, too. We’re building studios. Podcast spaces. Private offices. A full coffee program. Rooms where a family can create together. Corners where someone can sit and think deeply. We want to remove the friction between creativity and community.
TIM STANTON: I love that. Because most places force creatives to compartmentalize. “Be productive here. Be inspired there. Be spiritual over there.” But this is about integration.
PHIL NOVOA: Exactly. Integration, not fragmentation. We want to build a place that first honors God, then honors the full dynamics of a person... their faith, their ambition, their relationships, their God dreams.
LINDSEY NOVOA: That’s also why we’re curating a programming calendar... talks, workshops, showcases, spiritual conversations. We want to stimulate growth, not just provide amenities.
TS: So it’s not just a space to use... it’s a space that shapes you.
LN: That’s the vision. Los Santos isn’t just a location. It’s a launch pad. For people, for ideas, for movements. We keep saying, we’re not building for what’s trendy. We’re building for what’s missing.
PN: Los Santos is for the pioneers. The ones who believe creativity is sacred. The ones who want to raise kids in their full creative design and beauty. The ones who stay up late because the idea won’t leave them alone. We haven’t opened our doors yet, but you can already feel it. There’s a buzz. Like something’s coming. And when it does, Austin won’t be the same. It will start with believers, but the whole city will be invited in to see the creative wonder of a community united by a common cause... Jesus.
